Judy's Magic Cast On: success! 1st stitches of the 1st knit of the year.

I'm planning to make a week's worth of socks for #DesertBus 2023; there were so many fun sox at Dawnguard Fashion Fest that I was motivated to try knit my second (and subsequent) pairs ever. I plan trying different types in order to learn what I like to make & to wear in hand-knit socks.

This is less than a pair a month - so, doable - & I'm eager to get going.
