Ya know what feature #SoFurry lacks that I'd really like to see? A reading list. I see a lot of stories that I want to come back to but forget about.

I avoided the birdsite, because other sites were better, especially Mastodon, but back then it didn't have enough of an audience. What I do on sites like #sofurry and #furAffinity, is try to put as many tags on a story as I think fit: if there's a rabbit doing something, I tag "rabbit" and "lagomorph" and anything else that came into play about it being a rabbit, if there's a transformation machine, that's like 10 tags right there. I'm always shocked at how many artists fail to take 5 minutes to utilize features which would make their work show up in searches, especially on FurAffinity.

I do that on here too, but I try to weave my #hashtags into what I'm writing, so that I save some space in the post by not using characters on hashtags.

Edit: oh, also, I think we need to establish a standard on here, that casual mentions of Twitter are "birdsite", while actual mentions of drama there are "Twitter", because people use filters to filter it out.
