Why wouldn't #MailInABox be installable under #Debian, and it would be nice to have the choice to install or not #Nextcloud... etc, also to have the choice between #Roundcube and #SoGo as with #iRedMail

Die Vorbereitungen für die VPS laufen, um eventuell noch dieses Jahr frei von Google zu sein. Mailserver, Nextcloud mit Collabora, Sogo sowie ein Passwortmanager mit 2FA, Feedreader Miniflux.

Dank @cloudron und der Integration von Docker einfacher, als alle Dienste selbst zu warten.

Preparations for the VPS are underway to possibly be free of Google this year.

So... the night started with a locked up #SOGo instance and a user unable to read their email. After a lengthy debug session, i found the obvious i failed to see: UTF-8 chars in the users' password, keeping threads busy on IMAP connect.

Hab seit Monaten das Problem, dass ich beim #SOGo immer diese Fehlermeldung bekomme wenn ich mich anmelden mag. Zugangsdaten passen, sonst meckert er genau darüber.

Hast du spontan nen Tipp wo ich auf Fehlersuche gehen könnte oder so? :)

Technology is so (not) amazing sometimes:

I can send HTML-emails with #Thundebird with inline images from Linux without any problems, but when I attach the same image or forward the mail on with Thunderbird #Windows the images just disappear!

It's not that they're hidden, it looks like they're gone completely (I cannot see them with #SOGO on our mailserver as well).

What #cyberwizardy is this!?
