How do you store your data?

At the moment, I still use a very long Excel file, which I've added to a data model and can generate easily and fast some nice pivot tables and figures.

However, preparing an import is still a lot of work... (each bunch's total community entries needs to be copied X times for each sample 😬)

How do you handle this?

I am working in the fields of , and , mainly in ecosystems above the treeline.

We at try to find out what and how many soil animals can be found in alpine grasslands, what they eat and decompose, and what their functions are!
