How do you store your #SoilFauna data?

At the moment, I still use a very long Excel file, which I've added to a data model and can generate easily and fast some nice pivot tables and figures.

However, preparing an import is still a lot of work... (each bunch's total community entries needs to be copied X times for each sample 😬)

How do you handle this?

Moved to @fediscience.org from the social instance to be more connected to my science peers.

I am working in the fields of #soilecology, #soilzoology and #entomology, mainly in #alpine ecosystems above the treeline.

We at #AlpSoil_Lab try to find out what and how many soil animals can be found in alpine grasslands, what they eat and decompose, and what their functions are!
