Protip for #socceroos and #sokkahdon fans in Australia:
SBS's apps stream in really heavily compressed 720p quality so if you're watching it on a smart TV, Chromecast etc, you might want to get hold of whatever antenna you can use to tune in your telly directly over the air. Then you'll get 1080i and it's pretty good quality.
Of course my telly is so old it doesn't tune in the new (MPEG4) codec so I've just pulled out a USB stick tuner and tested it out. Will go antenna->usb->laptop->telly for Sunday morning. Convoluted but the streams this morning were terrible.
