@hawthornbunny Lua rocks! Love2D, Defold, and Solar2D are all game dev solutions that use Lua as their primary scripting language... Pico-8 is a blast, but if you want to break out of that virtual console and still hold on to the slick ease of Lua, check them out (if you haven't already)!

My #Lua built #3dengine for #Solar2D is now #opensource on Github! Actually, it's been open source for a year now, but uploading to Github makes that feel a bit more official than just as a zip file in the forums.
It's incomplete and crude, but should be a fantastic project for somebody with more time than me to pick back up and further develop. I'd LOVE to see some forks popping up of this one 😉

Finally moved the code for TIBO to a public repo. You can now start working on your own location based game centered on creature collection!

My instance of the game, TIBO, is still in review on Google Play. Documentation on what setup is involved client-side is pending, but it's not a lot if you've already set up the server.
Hi to all the new accounts on the gamedev server!
I'm an amateur solo dev working on my own server and in #Solar2D for client work, so everything Unreal/Unity/Godot related terrifies me with the complexity required.
It's cool to do your own, different thing.
Looks like approximately 0 people talking about #Solar2d here, which is only about 1 or 2 less than on the bird app 😀
