A short #thread on #solarEV vehicles: #Sono Motors, #Lightyear, IFEVS are just some of the brands that have unsuccessfully tried making and selling #solar electric cars in recent years. Hyundai tried doing the same with its Sonata. I think none of these brands were capable to justify the need for a solar roof on top of a car without a quality track record to back up its reliability. It's hard to push two innovations (#EV and solar) at the same time in a single product
