By comparing rates of hydrogen to deuterium (H with an extra neutron), #astronomers have concluded that there is simply too much deuterium for it have all been created in our neck of the woods.

The first orbital loop was extremely eccentric (planned 150:1 ellipse). So for 6 months after, #MRO used aerobraking to reach the desired #orbit. By using this method, the team was able to reduce the #launch payload by 450kg (992 pounds).

The Herschel #crater on #Saturn's #moon Mimas measures 130km across the <400km-wide body. Although there are several interesting facts about this #satellite, It looks like the Death Star, and that's good enough for me.

Ceres lost its title when more asteroids were discovered in the 1850s, but was reinstated as a Dwarf planet along with Pluto in 2006.

No one knows! Is it red all the way through, or just on top? Is it the material makeup, or a trick of light scattering? How deep does the #storm go anyway? It's shrinking: is it fading away forever?
We need more #robots!

When the moon was volcanically active, these "fire fountains" would've been visible from Earth (had there been anyone to see it).
