Sol Duc River

After visiting the Olympic Peninsula in 2018 during a period when the Northwest was slammed with smoke from a fire, I was thrilled to visit this spring and hike the beautiful trail to Sol Duc Falls. Creek At Sol Duc Falls

Getting the chance to finally visit Olympic National Park was a fantastic experience. This trail is a pretty easy out and back.
This little creek was running down alongside the trail to the main falls. I just found it so beautiful that I had to set up and capture a variety of shots. This is my favorite. Sol Duc Falls

Olympic National Park seems to be a magical place where greens are brighter, greener, richer, fuller, and just plain beautiful.
Throw that in with a fabulous hiking trail with small streams and rapids along the way and it magical.
