You know - the process of buying a house in the UK is so messed up I don't even know where to start.

So many people involved in the 'process' (and I use that terms very very lightly) all taking their fee but basically doing next to bugger all for it.

I'd say that 90% of the stress of moving house is caused by these people not doing their job or doing it badly.

What do other Internet / telecoms / tech lawyers for for pro bono (free) work. (I am in England, but this is more for ideas/inspiration.)

I sometimes feel I should do more - to date, it has been mostly for online sex work clients, for whom the cost of good legal advice would be prohibitive. I'm very pleased to continue to work with them, so thinking about other work, not replacement work.

Bravo! More of non-jargon in #legal #law #LegalTech a VERY good idea. During #Covid I thought of offering a course teaching #lawyers #barristers #solicitors how to be effective vis a vis cross exam etc. when on #zoom cam because most are not so hot at it...😂 but then cases via zoom don't happen so often now...another inadvertent case of #PlannedObsolescence! #LawCourts #4Courts

Have yet again had to advise a lawyer that the failure to retain a lawyer from day one to deal with all matters has resulted in a hefty award to the other side! #costs #solicitors #law. Has become incredibly depressing, not so much when it’s business and in the millions, but £100ks and the home gone.
