I have finished Solitaire. 📚 My suspicions were confirmed regarding the book title/plot and also with regards to Tori. Given that I'm a big fan of Nick's mum and Tao's mum, I await Alice Oseman to give me the backstory with Tori & Charlie's mum. I'm currently not a fan of hers based on what was shown in Solitaire.

Reading in bed is hazardous. Doesn't matter if it's my phone or my Kindle, I seem to end up dozing off, and it hits me in my face. I'm 40% through Solitaire as of last night. I don't know how Netflix is going to handle some of the stuff from the other Heartstopper 3 & 4, plus this book. It's heavy.

I have loved Tao's mum and Nick's mum since season 1. Now that I'm on episode 7, I am one of their biggest fans. Nick's mum throwing subtle shade at David & giving him that look. Me and Tao's mum, had the same level of excitement when he told her [redacted]. 😂

On another note, I see that season 1 of Heartstopper is the events that transpired before Solitaire. If Michael Holden is in season 2, then I definitely want to finish Solitaire first.

For example, this is, somehow, not a winnable hand of #solitaire thanks to those devil cards in the upper left.

The most maddening #game in my life is called Churchill #Solitaire, and it is a multifaceted beast.

The game itself is about as simple as a solitaire variant can be. Twice the cards. Stacks per usual. Spider-style draw.

And a small group of cards you can see and pull to the “win piles” but cannot add to stacks.

It’s devious and #evil and addictive.

It’s also an extraordinary #battery drain and linked to Don Rumsfeld both of which are Bad™.

But I cannot stop playing it.

"Solitaire" is a ballad written by #NeilSedaka and Phil Cody. Cody employs playing the card game of #solitaire as a metaphor for a man "who lost his love through his indifference"—"while life goes on around him everywhere he's playing solitaire". The song is perhaps best known via its rendition by the #Carpenters. Another version by #AndyWilliams reached number 4 in the #UKSinglesChart in 1973.

Kdo má rád #solitaire karetní #hry, tak od "AppCoder Studio" mohu doporučit všechny, pro #AndroidOS. Skoro bez reklam a má to vše, co člověk očekává. Nejradši hraju pavouka 🕷️🕸️🙂
Je čím dál těžší najít pro Android hry, které se dají hrát. To cpaní velkých agresivních reklam a placeného obsahu všude je úplně zvrácené a odmítám takovou manipulaci 🤮 Mladá generace možná nepochopí. (Ještě horší je situace na iPhonech, protože tam nelze ani nic externího nainstalovat.)
