Today’s solo board game adventure was Castles of Mad King Ludwig. One of my favorite games, this was actually the first time I tried the solo rules. Not as fun as it is with other players, but provides a different kind of challenge that is rewarding!

Happy post day today. Over the weekend I treated myself to 2 new #BoardGames as it was #ChaosCards birthday and they had 15% off!! I got #Verdant and #Cascadia I have to applaud #ChaosCards customer service as one of the boards for Verdant was damaged. As soon as I told them and sent photos they are sending me a replacement one out yay #SoloGamer #Games

So finally had #TheWhatnotCabinet to the table for the past 2 nights. Am scoring pretty poorly but really enjoying it. Also managed to get #Floriferous to the table too and scored my best score yet. 43 points Utter Zen 🥳 #BoardGames #SoloGamer #Games

Happy post today yay. On Thursday evening I bought #TheWhatnotCabinet by #PencilFirstGames off a #BoardGame group on Facebook. I've been after this for a while and it was a really good price so I couldn't say no. It even came with the #DiceTower promo. I can't wait to get this to the table #SoloGamer #SoloGames

Got #Floriferous to the table tonight. I really find this #Game relaxing. I love the artwork on it so much. I bought some mermaid buttons to use as stones instead of the cardboard ones. I did want some glass ones but couldn't find any I liked. These work great though and for me really add to the game experience #BoardGames #SoloGamer #Gamer

Now the weather as cooled and I'm sleeping I can relax and concentrate on some #Gaming I've finally got #Rove by #ButtonshyGames back to the table. Came very close to winning my last game too! Who would have thought the computer ran app would be any good at a logic deduction puzzle game? Red smoked me, 39 to 15. I think i need to just start throwing out theories bc if you don't keep up with the bot, not sure how you'll get enough points thru the game. Also, didn't help that I whiffed the chance to find Planet X at end but even if I did, I wouldn't have scored enough points.

Ok, so it wasn't the first time tonight but I reset and tried again and was victorious this time. Got lucky with the event having to do with terror traps and never seeing any. I used my focus cards to get 3 dice quickly, then just hammering him with the single knife i had picked up. You did good, Charlie. Only took you like 12 times to win, lol.

Second solo game of the evening was #Libertalia #WindsOfGalecrest and I got myself a win, 85 to 80. This #game has a super underrated #solo mode to it that I wish got more love.

First #solo #game of the evening was #ArkNova, but sadly, it was a loss. Hard to get used to how rapidly breaks come towards the end of this game. I ended up with a ton of money but nothing to do with it at end. Plus, getting all my workers out but getting ZERO bonuses from them because of the player mat I had, was detrimental.

Had my first play of #HitZRoad and somehow won with a score of 11 good. I am positive I must have gone wrong somewhere or it was beginners luck. However I really enjoyed it and the fact it was a more tactile #game with the meeples and dice. I’m looking forward to #playing it more #BoardGames #SoloGames #SoloGamer
