My son Aaron is ready to begin his solo hike on the Continental Divide Trail in the morning. Southbound from Rawlins Wyoming to the Mexico border. 2,500ish miles.

My son Aaron just finished and throughly enjoyed a 60 mile hike here in Az along the base of the Mogollon Rim. I dropped him off Tuesday morning about 9:30 am and picked him up about 9:30 am today (Friday) near Pine Az. Last year he hiked Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail as well as completing the Az Trail from Mexico to Utah border. Next in his agenda is Southern Wyoming to Mexico along the through a section of the Rocky Mountains.

Well, my two best local friends and only plans for any social gathering this week just tested positive for covid, so that's that. Husband is off Thursday and Sunday thankfully.

Alrighty, this shall be four days of and way too much dog snuggling.

Holidays are weird when you move 1000 miles away from your whole family.
