Well, I’ve deleted the twitter app from my phone and will be taking an extended break from that app. I appreciated it for what it offered, but the rise in hate speech, the new security threats, and rise in bots and trolls make it an unsafe and unwelcoming place.
I hope this place can grow to fill the void.

Honestly, it felt rather liberating to do this. Nice to be somewhere new. Well, many somewheres for now, but I'm sure it'll shake out, and probably not there.
