As I live in Brazil, I decided to draw a hedgehog enjoying a summer solstice :arrasa:

:artcapy2: I'm late and the idea was better than the art, but here's my first attempt at #SillyCuratorPrompt, namely: #SolsticeHedgehog.

#solsticehedgehog Well, the European hedge hog is my own pen and colored pencil quick drawing. As I at this time think of Newgrange as it is in County Meath where my mom's people came from many years ago and the Winter Solstice is a big deal there, I layered the photo of my drawing using the free layers program on my Android phone, on top of a photo of New Grange.

Still finding my way on here, but already #mastodon feels like an oasis of calm compared to the NOISE that is Instagram these days. There’s a feeling of community, of support and friendliness for creatives.

Oh and I just loved seeing the #SolsticeHedgehog drawings yesterday courtesy of @Curator. I did try having a go but nothing looked even vaguely like a hedgehog 🤣

My Mastodon hashtag search does not find the #SolsticeHedgehog hashtag ... anyone know why that would be? Full text, with and w/o the '#', wildcard and partial ... doesn't find it.

I have to actually search for someone who previously posted it, to be able to view it.
