My hunch was wrong. Turns out, there is a #Firefox privacy setting (not exactly sure where/how it gets set), called

privacy.resistFingerprinting

If this is set to *True*, you get this type of issue on HTML5 Canvases.

Turn the setting to "False" in "about:config" and the problem goes away.

Sadly, you get another problem...increased risk of fingerprinting. So...yay. 😡

One of the things I like about building plastic #models is the problem solving that must be done. Thru the build, workarounds are needed get something finished.

Today’s example: The external drop fuel tanks on this @TamiyaUSA P-51D Mustang build have two tiny pins that are supposed to fit into holes on the underside of the wings. But once positioned, there is nothing to support them while the glue dries. So I had to use masking tape to hold them in place. #Solved

Tak - adres IPv4 instancji na którą wskazuje domena "mymstdn.pl" znajduje się na naszej wewnętrznej czarnej liście.

Jak zawsze, wystawiając coś publicznie na świat - tutaj też nieustannie są jakieś incydenty i naruszenia w postaci ciągłego spamu, zalewu fake kont botów, spamów, DoS'ów i DDoS'ów. W dużym uproszczeniu, korzystam z różnych, a od kilku(nastu) lat utrzymuję swoje listy w których określam i limituję różne źródła (AS, różne zakresy IP etc.) - "różne" typy są wykorzystywane w całej masie "różnych" projektów, zaś adresacja Hetzner ma tragiczną reputację - akurat ten cały subnet jest mocno limitowany wszędzie, bo wykorzystywany jest do tanich instancji vps cloud, które generują całą masę abuse'ów.

Niestety, tutaj muszę dopowiedzieć - mocno przestrzegam przed wykorzystywaniem takich miejsc do hostowania takich rzeczy jak skrypty pobierające, re-dystrybuujące i produkujące treści w #fediverse - mi.n. ze względu na metody w stylu AbuseDoS w niemieckim prawie, jak i wątpliwą proceduralność tego providera.

All in all: adres IPv4 instancji "mymstdn.pl" został dodany do wyjątków dla serwera "mastodon.com.pl" - nie powinno być już problemu w połączeniu (#solved).

@dgar Not sure why this easily solved problem is considered a relevant meme in our society.

Mutation occurs at conception, and the egg is created by the parent, so the chicken came first, born from a non-chicken (but probably genetically fairly similar) egg.
