I love finding common threads between cultures. For example, I just shared the Sonam Losar where there is driving away evil spirits in Nepal & Tibet .

And over in the UK, according to folklore, the making noise and even hitting the apple trees to drive away the krampus happens at around the same time as Sonam Losar.
