Eurovision: the Swedish city of Malmö will host the music contest in 2024.

The southern Swedish city will host the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest in the same venue that housed the colourful and eclectic music competition in 2012, the Swedish organisers said on Friday.

In 2012, singer Loreen won for the first time. She came out on top again in the 2023 edition with her song 'Tattoo.'

Imho todays 2nd semi was a bit of a let down. While earyesterday was pretty decent with some really good songs. Too many ballads, which are not my thing. And one song with music too weak for the strong voice, one with music too strong for the singer voice, and multiple that where just plane boring, monotone, or uninteresting 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was so odd that that presenter 1st semi started speaking French then said "some of us dó learn a 2nd language" while side-eying the Ukrainian presenter. Who was speaking English... As a 2nd language... And then later that cocky "which you would already know if you spoke French".

Don't get why French in the live in England when there's a seperate French commenter for the French broadcast anyways...
