Well I've posted a few of the songs I'm stuck on for #JukeboxFridayNight , but here's one I've not posted yet.
I saw them about 7 or 8 years ago, and remember being blown away that they were psychedelic; like they deranged my senses; they didn't just play music that belonged to the genre called psychedelic.

I'm a sucker for some solid synthfunk, so I was chuffed when I first heard this toe tapping track by Goodie: https://youtu.be/pz4_tVB13ZU

i've had this track on daily rotation (and often play it on loop for ages) since i first heard it five years ago. because i love the David Bowie original. because i invariably love anything #DaveGahan is associated with. and because Mark Lanegan's vocal is sublime.

And speaking of unholy mixes, the 'Possesor' album by Gost features an infectious blend of darkwave, 80s synth pop, and goth: https://gost1980s.bandcamp.com/track/sigil

Ever since I heard the 'Through the Mirror' album by Endon from Tokyo, Japan, I've been mesmerised by it. An unholy mix of punk, hardcore, noise, screamo and black metal:

Another one for #MusicTuesday #SongsYoureStuckOn, one I've never been able to stop playing since 1978. The best ACDC song (yeah, I know.. but it just is) https://youtu.be/aAOj2eQQ14A

Always loved this version.
The tape here is pretty rough in places, and I think someone has spent a lot of time learning/rewinding the guitar solo.
It's amazing what you can find on the net - I've got a perfect bootleg copy of this entire show in my library. Taped directly off the soundboard by the engineers.

For #MusicTuesday #SongsYoureStuckOn
During the COVID-19 pandemic 'first wave' Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino released the album "3.15.20". It was well-reviewed but seemed to go straight off the radar. Maybe people put off by the lack of song titles? I am still stuck on "47.48"

I decided to look back at the Nineties. The older I get, the less diverse my musical tastes.
Now, I pretty much just listen to modern metal - and that's a shame. I need to rectify this.
This was one of my favourite albums when it came out, but I haven't listened to it for over a decade. It's been on repeat all day today.

It's all so pointless
It is and that's beautiful, l find it humbling, sincerely
And when you're gone
It brings me peace of mind to know that this will all just carry on
With someone else (Someone else)
With something new (Something new)
No need to be blue

And the most recent "stuck on me track" is this:
B. B. King, "Backwater Blues" (2008), a Big Bill Broonzy cover

This is a track that I'm really stuck on (seriously stuck on), and every time I listen the left side of my brain goes "5/4 time" and the right side of my brain goes "4/4 time" and then my whole brain gets wiped by the guitar solos.
And I sing it every time I've felt good over the past 528 months, hey!
Magazine, "The Light Pours out of Me" (1978)

Those of you who know me well enough from The Other Place will know my love for The God Otis™️. And for those of you of a certain vintage 👀, you remember that scene from Cheers where Kirstie crumples in a heap at the sound of the Righteous Brothers? That's me with the opening bars of...
