Prescribed burns will take place June 23-26 on 35 acres of oak pasture along Highway 12 between Kenwood, Glen Ellen & Sonoma. The burns and related activities may be visible from the highway.

You may see or smell smoke for approx 7 hours. Traffic will surely slow down, so prepare accordingly.

Burns will take place at approx 10 am-5 pm.

Do not call 911 about these burns.

Caught a cougar on our critter cam last night. Haven’t had one on the camera for a couple of years. Can’t tell if it is collared. Checking with our local wildlife biologist who studies them in this area to see if he can id it from his satellite tracking feeds. #predator #wildlife #SonomaValley
