#Saguaro 🌵 are an important part of the #biotic community in the #Sonoran #Desert 🏜️. They are a vital part of the diet of #Indigenous people in the area.
Due to #climate #change-related shifts in #weather, the mature individuals are no longer reproducing. They are dying without being replaced.
The #IUCN currently lists them as "least concern" but also "declining." The most recent assessment is from 2017.

We ate there last time. Parking was a bitch. I saw they were well setup for takeout. They opened when the pandemic was worse. Tucson is known for its #Sonoran style Mexican food and it’s really good, but it’s nice to have a change of pace.
The #Pineapple #Guacamole served with #Plantain chips was nice.

Restocked on a few seasonal specials. This candy cane white chocolate #ale by #Sonoran brew co tastes boldly of white chocolate with a hint of mint. Judging by the label description, they knew that too 🤣
