Curious on the thoughts of the #Fediverse around the newly-announced #Sonos speakers - the #SonosEra100 and #SonosEra300. I have a #SonosArc, #SonosSub and two rear #SonosOneSL setup in my lounge, wondering whether to cash in my 15% upgrade discount and swap out the One SLs for two Era 100s. But then I’m not sure I’ll gain any real benefit… stereo sound over mono? Does that even matter if they’re being used as rear surrounds? 🤷🏻‍♂️

@stephenrobles Stephen, Stephen. (No, we are not acquainted.) If you wanna bang dat bass, you need some hip-hop! I recommend the playlist on Apple Music called “Christian Rap Workout Songs.” Kid-friendly, and it’ll give that Sonos sub a real workout. (My multi-room Sonos setup is playing it now, and my sub is rattling the windows in my living room.)

But that is how the elderly roll. Maybe it’s too much for you young whipper-snappers. 💀🔪
