This was the photo that started my love for photography. I was brand new to “real cameras” about 12 years ago and testing a Sony A7 walking through my local park when I came across a color run. 90% luck with the light and the action but this actually got picked up from Flickr and published in a Dallas magazine. A great memory to reflect on from time to time.

An oldie but a goodie: I borrowed a friend’s 135mm f/2 prime lens for a day around a few years ago. Hard to stabilise at times but really rewarding upgrade from shooting 50 or 80mm. Wouldn’t mind having this for .

These days I mostly shoot a Sony A7 III camera body. For lenses, I usually reach for a vintage Rokkor lens (often 58mm f/1.2 or 1.4). Sometimes a modern Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.2 (which I'm learning to love but I'm not loving the focal length).

These were all taken with the Minolta MC Rokkor PG 58mm f/1.2 vintage lens.

I realised that I didn't pick up the spare battery for camera. But I also realised that I can charge with generic smartphone charger--. This is the reason why is extremey important. and fanatic will never realise.
