Was blown away by what I think was a red wood in the forest at Bailey Arboretum. This tree was so tall and stick straight. Such a gorgeous hue to the bark, absolutely stunning!

It felt like we were not on Long Island while walking through the forest at Bailey Arboretum. It was really hard getting great photos because the sun was so harsh while we were there. I think these show off the beautiful trees!

My last photo from the New York Botanical Garden. One last lily before I go. I'm half and half on this photo. I love the flower, but the bokeh effect in the back looks super weird, not sure what caused it to look wavy. It's probably something that my old lens is doing, or maybe the ISS built into the lens.

The moon rise on August 30th from Garden City, NY. When I looked at the photo on my camera the first thing that popped into my mind was the Eye of Sauron! The clouds at the horizon prevented me from getting a really clean shot. I love the colors!

Alright! This is a better photo, the previous was really blurry do to the way the pixel shift composition didn't properly correct for the rotation of the moon! This is my cleanest single frame that I took of the super blue moon! I'm looking forward to experimenting more with astrophotography!

So this photo test just blew me away. I took both of these shots in very low light. My room was completely dark except for a very weak lamp in the room. The first shot was taken with a 2 second shutter speed, and the second shot was taken at 1 second. Both shots were taken HAND HELD! How is this camera's IBIS so good! With my 20mm lens I should have taken these at 1/20, but these were taken at 16 and 13 f-stops lower!

A closeup HDR shot of the Cathedral of the Incarnation tower. It was interesting editing this HDR photo because it really brought out the massive chromatic aberrations from my old Canon lens adapted to my Sony. My previous shot was with a wide angle Sony lens and had absolutely no aberrations!
