11. La decisión de Sophie (1982) Por un lado, me ha aburrido en su primera mitad, pero por otro, me ha extasiado, en general. Lo bueno es excelente. Es una película dura, poco complaciente, que narra con mucha sensibilidad un drama en el que Meryl Streep hace el papel de su vida.

Meryl Streep is amazing (no wonder she won the Best Actress Oscar for it), but so are Peter MacNicol and Kevin Kline.
The film is about so much more than the strikingly traumatic scene it's most famous for (which almost put me off watching it), e.g. the interaction of privilege with observed suffering, the role of the artist and more.
