Even though it is a weird, rainy day here, my plant is producing crop #3 and getting ready for crop #4 at some point in the future. I have been dividing the plant when I harvest the seeds and the tillers keep producing more tillers and seed heads.

test. The seeds came from a plant that flowers, dies, but sends up tillers that then flower & die, but not before sending up more tillers. So it is reproducing asexually by perennial tillers in addition to setting seed. Going to keep observing to see if it's progeny does the same. The original plant is almost three years old.

divided (going on its' third year), wheat planted to help absorb the rain as it germinates quickly. Going to harvest & after lunch. doing ok with rain. Still have power at both sites.
