Carl was a #fighter who was #polymorphed into a #sword, poor Carl. His backstory is usable as an alternate backstory for the #Eldrich #Knight. A fighter who should have been a Warlock or Sorceror yet has a greater natural affinity for the warriors skills than magic skills forcing the other forces to make this compromise. Basically adapting/stealing the #sorcerer/#warlock concepts so when someone hears their #backstory they think "#sorlock " rather than "fighting man"
