I walked down to see the snowdrops at the bottom of the road this afternoon - it's always a place that feels strangely enchanted. It's recovered well from last year's big disaster of one of the trees coming down - not just the loss of the tree but all the churning up and mess of its removal. Still beautiful. Life goes on.
