Je ne télécharge globalement plus de musique depuis que j'ai un abo de streaming (et que j'achète des disques comme un homme des cavernes) mais j'ai installé #Soulseek juste pour partager ma bibliothèque musicale, qui date un peu (environ 11 000 titres donc pas immense).

Il y a un côté très satisfaisant a aller voir ce que les gens ont téléchargé chez soi, redécouvrir l'existence de certains albums en se disant "ah tiens ça intéresse quelqu'un ça?"

Los que tenemos ya unos años y nos gustaba la música "difícil" con géneros e ediciones de esta en mil partes diferentes, casi nunca en tiendas de discos al uso, pudimos disfrutar de un programa que suplía todas estas carencias.
Soulseek de nombra y una de las mejores filosofía para el intercambio de datos (sobre todo musicales) donde si no ponías a disposición tus archivos -bien ordenados y catalogados- era difícil que estos se ampliaran.
Te podías encontrar con una persona que tenia una K7 con tirada de 20 copias (una era la tuya) de una Ksetera desaparecida hace años...
Luego, llego la perdida de audición y sordera y todo acabó.

If anyone here uses #SLSK, what’s the best client to use with #MacOS? I tried using the official #QT #Soulseek client but it lags with #VoiceOver when scrolling through search results.

Somehow I got the urge to search on SoulSeek for Terry Pratchett books because I've never read any and I know they're the sort of thing I'd be into. The first set of results I got were the French translations and I was like, wait, I'm trying to get better at French, this is an excuse to try those! However, given the way he writes, it might work better to read in English first (also stole those).

I then had the bright idea to see if I could find the Aubrey-Maturin books, which I have read before, in French. Unfortunately, I could only find Italian and Spanish, which I do not read. And English, so I stole those, too. But if I found them in French, I would the advantage of being familiar with the texts already.
