Eg har nett henta ein Allen & Heath SQ6 miksar til ungdomslaget i bygdi. Det blir så godt å styre lyd på skikkeleg utstyr! Og no er det straks boknatt i Den norske i , så det passae perfekt med ny fjong digitalmiksar som kan alt!

Mind blown. Found a set of default and mic setup that make my voice sound like it does inside my head.

Mind also blown by how good my little usb mic is. I have an -technica at-4040 that might be a better mic but I’ve got more out of this little usb mic than expected

Sudden random thought from an engineer with an A/V hobby.

I've seen people stick cameras and microphones to cars with suction cup mounts. When they do that, is anybody doing the math for the static and/or dynamic loading on those mounts, or do they just use rules of thumb and say "if something goes wrong, that's why we have insurance?"

One good thing about ’s speech is I can use a clip of it in a lecture as an example of audio signal distortion - and maybe also impedance mismatch .

I am a fan and am grooving on this old ribbon I recently got. It's an Aiwa VM-15, probably from the mid-50s or early 60s. Despite the little dent it picked up somewhere along the way, it sounds fantastic...didn't even need a new ribbon the way these old mics often do. It'll be my daily driver for the @BreakingBadness podcast for a while.

The old models are still the benchmark for many folks for this kind of mic, but on the other hand, these Aiwas can still be found for WAY less ca$h.
