Wie kommen denn die anderen Tracker-Musiker an neue Sounds? Ah, es gibt "Sound Digitizer"! Die kann man am Amiga anschließen und erhält damit einen Audioeingang zum sampeln diverser Quellen.
Ich habe auf ein Modell aus den Anzeigen in Computerzeitschriften gespart. Auf dem Foto ist mein alter Sampler von Omega Datentechnik zu sehen:
8 Bit, 56 kHz, eine Mono-Chinch-Buchse als Eingang, Anschluss an Floppy-Port und Parallel-Port.

Es folgt meine kleine Evolution des Musikmachens auf dem Commodore Amiga 500 (Ende 80er/Anfang 90er). 🧵

Ich bin über Freunde auf Soundtracker gestoßen, große Begeisterung über die realistischen Sounds.
Nach einer Weile fühlt man sich etwas eingeschränkt auf Planet ST-01 und die Freunde wollen keine Panflöte mehr hören.
Wo kann man neue Sounds bekommen? Ah, man kann Samples bzw. MODs aus Demos rippen! Die Szene-Gruppen haben schon coolere Sounds.

One #podcast I really enjoy and support and used my little #Twitter account to try and spread the word about was the #Soundtracker podcast by Eric Peacock (@uwebollocks on the bird site).

He doesn't have a presence here because unfortunately that place is still where artists have to be to promote their wares effectively.

But if you're hanging out on an instance and looking for a fun little show where people discuss #soundtracks to #movies you know very well or have no idea about (and may have great soundtracks you didn't know existed) I recommend it.
