Yes I love the #fediverse but I'm still having the same issue here that I see on every other social network...

It's always being used as a broadcasting tool, not a platform for conversation.

The constant flow of people posting content, and the dearth of people responding to content from others...

And putting so much emphasis on boosts in the Fediverse hasn't helped this situation. Being an amplifier node for others is awesome, but it's not the same as engaging with their work.
