“Shams has risen and by Her I am insighted
And by her abundant goodness, I am delighted
And in Her refuge I have confided
And with Her light, the seedlings sprouted
And sweet wine to quench my thirst, from her vineyard I harvested”

Shams is a solar goddess from South Arabia (Yemen), shams is also Arabic for sun ☀️
I wrote this in Arabic and translated it to English. Inspiration came from an ancient Himyaritic hymn.
