A walk to The Forks, where the Mullica and Batsto Rivers meet, a hangout for rebel pirates during the Revolution. It’s very much low tide out there. #southjersey

Merlin was right: heard the fish crows ha-ha-ing and saw a pair of them harassing a redtail. By the time I got outside the hawk had climbed high enough one crow had broken off the chase.

Broadwing raptors don't generally take other birds on the wing, so the crows aren't quite as brave as they seem.
