Thirteen years ago I did my first Alpine climb, crossing all three Vajolet Towers, following a mountain guide #Rosengarten #SouthTyrol #Italy
Today I received the confirmation that my achievements since then in leading Alpine climbs are sufficient to be eligible for attending th courses to become a Trainer in Alpine #Climbing.
Feels (almost) as good as getting a paper accepted π

Over the past weeks, a more or less constant number of infected cases have been imported. These cases have led to further transmissions, primarily within families. With the start of school next week, this situation will change as the number of contacts increases, potentially leading to another surge. Here is an updated simulation showing three possible scenarios without the introduction of a new variant with immune escape.

South Tyrol's overall mortality and COVID mortality were relatively low compared to other regions (fig. 1). About 3% of the population passed away in the period from 2020 to 2022, with 10% of those deaths being attributed to COVID. A similar pattern emerges for Vienna and Tyrol.
