So Sputh Western Rails fucked the trains again. Now were all crammed into a tiny 4 carriage train (normally its 10 carriages) ahd theres no air con...its 27°C outside

I'm no expert but I do use Thameslink & always assume the delays are so common because every train had done a long rural haul (with scope for cumulative trouble) before even leaving central LOndon.
Services terminating/starting in London have a big advantage as they can start on time.
