Another Sovereign Citizen has his day in Court, although technically it's this guy's third day. First he was fined by a magistrate so he appealed to the District Court. After losing that case, today he was appealing his earlier losses to the High Court.

As usual, the SovCit lost. They always do. How come they never learn?

Today's dipstick is Auckland bar owner Shayne La Rosa -- Shooters Saloon in Kingsland. Rabidly anti-Jacinda, he believes Covid vaccines are “sterilising young women to reduce the population”. Obviously unfit to run a bar, he's been charged with 'managing an unlicensed premises'.

He represented himself in Court.

Speaking of YouTube, one of my old favorite channels has gone completely chud. The dude running it used to focus on Medieval weaponry and costuming then started complaining about YT's algorithm a lot, went kind of edgelord (I suppose for views), and finally ended up complaining about #lgbtqia representation in media and "source material". It's always sad to watch someone you once liked become a bigoted arsehole.

Sharon Rayner ran the 'Bean Me Up' café in Kaikōura for about five years, then in December 2021 asked the Council to deregister her food operation.

But she kept operating. She told a food safety officer that she "does not consent", was “out of the system” & “would not contract with the government” or pay any fines.

She's just scored two months in jail.
