Finally we're coming together π π I had several problems during the last week's and months with my #SovolSV06 and tried different things to get it printing properly, but nothing seemed to help. So I reached out to the support. Together we realized that the hotbed mounting plate as well as the thermistor cables where bad/broken.
After replacing these faulty components I finally get decent prints out of this machine π€
What a journey πͺπ₯΄
Long time no print π yesterday evening I tweaked my Prusa Slicer TPU settings for an larger upcoming print.
This is the test result, a low poly wolf at .3 layer height and 0% infill. Turns out super squishy π
My #SovolSV06 #3Dprinter !!! Holy cow I am so excited. I've only just assembled it. Need to go through all the configs & calibrations still. Would love any tips

My signature #3Dprinted jackal (#Wepwawet, #Kemetic #God #AncientEgypt) got an upgrade this weekend! I re-designed the head from the ground up, designed a new decorative base that is printed in pieces and then assembled. Added glitter π
The base comes completely apart into pieces (top/bottom and 4 sides) which I did so I could more easily have hollow cutouts on the side (easier to 3D print flat pieces with holes than upright ones).
Added a printed gold box inside the base during assembly for a bit of bling but it's difficult to see. I think it will be better if printed bigger (that's probably the next step, go big or go home).
Big thanks to #Sovol #SovolSV06 printer, and #PrusaSlicer 2.6 Alpha 3. Honorable mentions to #TinkerCad, #Fusion360, and #MeshMixer, because I suck at #3dmodeling and needed no fewer than 3 programs to get this done :blob_rave:

Dude ... That was tough π΅βπ« Spent another evening to work on that TPU stuff and finally made some progress to get a decent flexible print out of my #SovolSV06 π
Now let's have some more fun π
#sovolsv06 #learning #tinker #3dprinting
Damn π That was hard... I needed nearly the whole day to figure out how to print TPU on the #SovolSV06 or, rather how to print TPU in general π But I learned a lot and finally got a ChepCube done. Now it's time to optimize the result π
First Benchy, after nearly 2h. Quite good nothing to complain about π€·. The only odd thing is, that the machine is quite loud during movement. Especially the bearings. But I read that seem's normal π€
Sunday is #3DPrintday, so let's fire up the new #SovolSV06 by sovol3d.com and do some printsπ First print of the day, a Benchy that came with the card π₯οΈ
