Old breaks apart in after space debris collision...
space.com/soviet-satellite-bre
The problem is that even a junk fragment as small as 0.4 inches can cause serious damage. In 2016, a fragment only a few millimeters wide punched a 16-inch (40 cm) wide hole into one of the solar panels of Europe's Earth-observing satellite .

Humans. Always barging into a pristine landscape like they own the less and leaving a mess. But at least future space archaeologists will have job security.

Yo dawg, I heard you like space debris, so I put space debris in your space debris so you can clean up space debris while you clean up space debris. :( universetoday.com/162885/the-i

A piece of space junk being monitored by the European Space Agency as part of a mission to remove space junk has been hit by another piece of space junk.

The collision highlights the mounting threat of space debris, and the need to deal with it sooner rather than later.

The object is the initial target of the worldโ€™s first space debris cleanup programme, led by Swiss startup Clearspace and scheduled for 2026.

Yes, games can be used for science! Here is a 100% accurate simulation, what happens if we don't take care of our space debris.
In my game, you'll get the quest to clean up this mess. What reward would you expect?

is a growing problem. Some 34,260 debris objects โ€” including used rocket stages, old and fragments created in collisions โ€” are currently tracked by surveillance networks, according to the European Space Agency ().
