Thinking of all the conversations I have had with car users about #LowTrafficNeighbourhoods #spaceforcycling etc… A common theme is “I can’t stop using my car until there are better alternatives’

Taking this at face value - that car users are trapped in a disfunctional transport system as much as the rest of us - is there anything they can do or have done to mobilise for alternatives - a motorist mass action for better public transport? #carstrikeforclimate or somesuch? Idk - thoughts?
