My #Twitter timeline is about half as active as it was before #SpacePutin. Now it looks like Legal Twitter is getting ready to leave (for #Mastodon and/or #Post it looks like).

Twitter #bankruptcy - literal or figurative - is going to go like #Hemingway described: Gradually, then suddenly.

My favorite dark horse theory for #Twipocalypse is that #SpacePutin is being paid by the #Saudis to kill a platform which is way too democratizing for their preference. $50bn or so is basically pocket change for them.

What SP gets out of it is being able to openly play cruel authoritarian overlord for a few weeks, and to be the main character on the Internet.
