Das Segel kann nach dem Entfalten nämlich selbst von #Weltraumschrott-Teilchen oder #Mikrometeoriten getroffen werden wodurch kleine Fetzen entstehen können. Und bei orbitalen Geschwindigkeiten von 10 km pro SEKUNDE können auch kleine Folienstücke wie Geschosse wirken.
