In #PokemonScarletViolet #Clodsire is based on a real animal called the #SpanishNewt or Pleurodeles waltlii. (Makes sense since the #Paldea region is based off Spain.) Like the #Pokémon, these newts can push their ribs through their skin, coated in poison, as a defense. #scicomm
