So... Pixel 6 screen broke today. A phone like the pixel is a but useless without a working screen (which is also the input device).

Unless you plan for this case in advance, there is no practical way to carry out tasks, exchange information or otherwise hope to control it in any way. Can't even reliably turn it off!! Data recovery becomes a very intrusive process...

iPhones are much better geared for this kind of situation... Such is life.

The good news is that I found someone who will replace the screen with a 24h turnaround, so that is cool!
