#Sunday | When I was coming up and moving town-to-town as an Air Force brat, my parents *always called their Mama's on Sunday night. AT&T owned it all then and "long-distance" was *price-y for calls within the US, even the next town over. Distance mattered, and the highest rates were during "business hours" when a 3-minute call from NY to LA was about $1.50 for the first 3-minutes and a little less/minute after that. Rates were lower on Sunday nights, and folks burned #MaBell's lines up!

#RescueCats update: We got the momcat and kittens their rabies shots, so next up is #Spay (x3) and #Neuter (x1). We couldn't get the whole kitten/cat vax packages due to the mobile clinic being out.

I emailed a new-to-me #SpayNeuter outfit and asked about the possibility of doing them all on the same day, as that makes withholding food, etc. much easier, as they're isolated from the rest of the cats. I'll try to get current pics tomorrow.

It’s about high time cities across America start implementing mandatory spay/neuter ordinances. Our city shelter has taken in 45 animals since Monday, an astronomical increase since COVID.
