#SteveHackett #spectralmornings #vinyl #np This is an album that passed me by in 1979 being to in thrall to post punk rock. Seeing him a few years ago playing this I entirety was mind blowing. It’s the kind of #prog that ticks boxes for me. Strong songwriting, melodic guitar playing to the fore, complex structures and all round quality musicianship. Everyday and Spectral Mornings bookend a stellar album 9/10

I must have watched this #video about 50 times and it's constantly in my head! I do flick between this version of #SpectralMornings and the #SteveHackett instrumental, but the voice of #DavidLondgon on this #live version is amazing, as always. Not to be left out, #PeteJones nails the #guitar #solo and #harmonies. And let's not forget how great #Magenta are on this, too.
