We made a new puzzle based on the Spectre tile, the aperiodic monotile discovered early this year by @Chaimgoodmanstrauss, @csk, and others. It is a set of 111 tiles with a truchet-style pattern printed on them

I've been playing about with the #Spectre aperiodic #monotile recently. I'm thinking of making them into fired & glazed #ceramic tiles for a wall piece somewhere and, to prepare for that, I've been thinking about whether there are lines I could draw between the sides that'd look pretty (similar to the boardgame "Tantrix")
I built a little #ruby app to make an #SVG of a tiling, so I could experiment — I'm still not 100% happy with the edge pairings, but you might enjoy looking at my work so far!

Gotta say, not really a fan of Cris as the Spectre. I get the angle the writers were going for with his story but it doesn't resonate with me like #JimCorrigan or #HalJordan's did.
Taking a little break to read #Shadowpact (for #Enchantress) and the #MadameXanadu series to catch up on my parallel chronology readings before closing out the pre-#New52 Spectre continuity.

The fact that the #CPU, the core of our technical dependency, poses a security risk and becomes a danger, triggered hectic activity, almost panic.
With #Downfall & #Inception, two new vulnerabilities have been discovered whose potential danger is no less. Good this way! The blind trust in the self-developed technology and the unconditional submission of the people to it urgently needs noticeable warning shots. Everything that man develops is defective - EVERYTHING! 100% perfection is against nature, even if it offends our ego. Linking life to technology is stupid, but greed, arrogance and laziness are also typically human.

Was als unmöglich erachtet wurde und sich deshalb niemand darum kümmerte, erwischte alle eiskalt. Dass die #CPU, der Kern unserer technischen Abhängigkeit, ein Sicherheitsrisiko darstellt und zur Gefahr wird, löste hektisches Treiben, fast schon Panik, aus.
Mit #Downfall & #Inception wurden zwei neue Schwachstellen aufgedeckt, deren Gefahrenpotential nicht geringer ist. Gut so! Das blinde Vertrauen in die selbst entwickelte Technik und die vorbehaltlose Unterwerfung der Menschen vor selbiger, benötigt dringend bemerkbare Warnschüsse. Alles, was Mensch entwickelt, ist fehlerhaft - ALLES! 100 % Perfektion ist wider der Natur, auch wenn das unser Ego kränkt. Das Leben an Technik koppeln, ist dumm, aber Gier, Arroganz und Bequemlichkeit eben auch typisch menschlich.

The action sequences are superb.
While I'm not thrilled with Daniel Craig, he's still miles better than Roger Moore (IMO), and I can tolerate his face. Meaning I don't want to slap his face every time I see it, like I do Moore.
I'd put Craig about on par with the plank that was Lazenby.

I was attempting to reproduce the photograph called "the spectre of Newby Church". In these images the instruciton to be photorealistic is rather loosely interpreted. 3 figures are standing on the altar. No-one stands on altars, and I asked for him to be to one side. He is central. There is no transparency in the figure. It can't count steps.
