At least cell data is working just fine. If I really needed to, I could use my phone as a hotspot, etc etc.

Services are turning up!! Internet access slowly appearing at corporate and home locations. Cable TV also responding. Slowly showing up!

Thanks to all the unknown Spectrum engineers who saved Friday.

This is sounding much worse than a basic outage or config error. An OTDR is a $10k hardware device for fiber work. If I read that email right, Spectrum is using lots of these to find a backup fiber route to use.

Update: Spectrum email: “As of 4:25 AM, Spectrum Enterprise NOC has engaged Spectrum Engineering. Spectrum Engineering is working to restore a redundant path thus Spectrum Hub Engineers have been engaged to assist in gathering OTDR shots.”
