Went grocery shopping at the Carrefour this morning and I passed the #LEGO section of the toys isle, something I'd better not do. What did I spot? A #SpeedChampions version of #JamesBond #007 #AstonMartin car. Suffice to say, I could not ignore this. Surprisingly fun to put together, with plenty of moments you'd say: Why would you do this, this way? Followed by insights of: Oh that's why....😮

Ooooh, new #LEGO #SpeedChampions sets dropping March 1st. Far more interest in these than the last couple... The #McLaren Solus GT and #Porsche 963 sets look particularly nice. And the 2022 #Ford GT #Technic kit looks interesting too... I know what the Christmas list will be filled with this year >.>

Finished the little #Lego #007 #AstonMartin this is my second #SpeedChampions build and I’m extremely impressed. Great two session build, fantastic design, always a fun engineering surprise (the manifold on the hood :chefskiss:). I will absolutely be adding more of these to my collection.

Finished one of my Christmas gift builds. The #Lego #SpeedChampions #McLaren Elva (76902).

Sadly I've missed out on the McLaren Senna (75892), which is a retired set, as well as one of my favorite cars. I thought this set my salve that disappointment.

The build was delightful. The casual use of SNOT building techniques humbles me as a designer who has never gotten the hang of it... The axe blades as taillights and the pivoted body panels were really next level engineering.

That rear end is just .... *chef's kiss* 😍

Got time to finally build one of my #lego sets from Christmas. It's the #AstonMartin from #JamesBond

This is a special build for me because the first date my wife and I ever went on was seeing Casino Royale on opening weekend in 2006.

When #Lego launched the new line of Speed Champions with the Lamborghinis and Ferrari Tributo I was ecstatic.

Finally official cars that could fit TWO minifigs sitting side-by-side.

Such an improvement. and the desing liberties that came with those!

Super pretty sets.

Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ford, General Motors, Audi. they benefited the most.
