1. Speed Limits... What Speed limits? If it wasn't people up my ass it was people overtaking with like I was stationary.
2. Red lights mean nothing... Counted in excess of 25 people who broke red lights on a 40km round trip.
3. Saw two unnecessary MGIF overtakes. Waiting 10 seconds would have cleared the person cycling and avoided the close pass.

What I do remember (possibly incorrectly) was that it was about #Munich lowering its #residential speed limits and one of the references in the toots was an #Australian study showing how reducing speed limits to #30km/hr changed driver behaviour. The reference kinda showed that driver behaviour changed _without_ enforcement.

How often do you hear “speed was not a factor” in a crash? They mean the driver wasn’t exceeding the (probably too high) speed limit.
Remember, when it comes to the likelihood that vehicle crashes will occur, & whether the consequences are deadly or not, SPEED IS ALWAYS A FACTOR.
